چکیده

This study aims to observe and analyze the diagnostic value of T-cell enzyme linked immunospot assay for tuberculosis infection during diagnosis pulmonary extrapulmonary tuberculosis. The objects were 200 cases patients in outpatient department or inpatient our hospital, including 100 with active tuberculosis, Meanwhile, we selected 90 non disease, nontuberculous disease health examination. test was used detect antigen specificity frequency T cells secreting Interferon gamma results analyzed detail. positive rate enzyme-linked group higher than that non-pulmonary healthy control (p<0.05). significantly sensitivity 88.56 % bacteriological 80.25 negative 93.36 respectively 85.67 %, 84.36 89.73 predictive values 93.95 88.79 96.56 while 74.00 80.00 respectively. By comparing there is no significant difference efficiency (p>0.05). In comparison group, result showed efficacy not statistically immunosorbent has ideal sensibility, infection, which can be widely

Local immunodiagnosis of pulmonary tuberculosis by enzyme-linked immunospot.

Lymphocytes are crucial in the immune defence against Mycobacterium tuberculosis (MTB) infection. The aim of the present study was to ascertain whether or not MTB-specific lymphocytes are selectively compartmentalised in the lungs of patients with minimal active pulmonary tuberculosis (PTB). Patients with smear-negative MTB-culture-confirmed PTB were prospectively recruited. Differential cell c...

Accuracy of the Bronchoalveolar Lavage Enzyme-Linked Immunospot Assay for the Diagnosis of Pulmonary Tuberculosis

Assessing of local immune response may improve the accuracy of pulmonary tuberculosis (PTB) diagnosis. Many studies have investigated diagnosing PTB based on enzyme-linked immunospot (ELISPOT) assay of bronchoalveolar lavage (BAL) fluid, but the results have been inconclusive. We meta-analyzed the available evidences on overall diagnostic performance of ELISPOT assay of BAL fluid for diagnosing...

Accuracy of enzyme-linked immunospot assay for diagnosis of pleural tuberculosis: a meta-analysis.

Current methods for diagnosing tuberculous pleurisy are poor. Some studies have explored the diagnostic value of a pleural effusion enzyme-linked immunospot (ELISPOT) assay, but its accuracy remains controversial. Therefore, we performed a meta-analysis of the existing evidence on the ability of the ELISPOT assay to diagnose tuberculous pleurisy. We systematically searched PubMed, Google Schola...

A STUDY OF MYCOBACTERIUM TUBERCULOSIS DRUG RESISTANCE IN PULMONARY TUBERCULOSIS

Tuberculosis remains a major public health problem in both developing and developed countries. Drug-resistant tuberculosis is an increasing health problem and serious challenge to tuberculosis (TB) control programs. Information about the susceptibility pattern of Mycobacterium tuberculosis isolates against anti-tuberculosis drugs is an important aspect to TB control. The objectives of the s...

Diagnosis of Tuberculosis by an Enzyme-Linked Immunospot Assay for Interferon-γ

We evaluated an enzyme-linked immunospot assay for interferon-gamma (T SPOT-TB) for rapid diagnosis of active tuberculosis (TB) in a disease-endemic area. From January to June 2005, patients whose clinical symptoms and radiographic findings were compatible with TB were recruited, and a blood sample was obtained for T SPOT-TB assay within 7 days of microbiologic studies. Sixty-five patients were...
